Inventory Management
Review and gather customer inventory levels and reconcile daily
Communicate with sites for corrections as needed and adjust loads
Analyze, evaluate and dispatch in line with customer needs
Fuel Dispatch and Pricing
Forecast and set loads for future shifts
Evaluate, adjust and monitor dispatched loads
Price and coordinate daily dispatch of fuel with vendors
Review drivers hours of service ensuring safety and in line with DOT regulations
Prioritize and assign loads by inventory, customer, price, pull points and geography
Dispatch virtual trucks to outside carriers
Customer Service
Receive and gather customer orders and communicate instructions to drivers
Ability to defuse situations, research problems and address concerns as needed
Truck Maintenance
Track and coordinate required truck maintenance, update and maintain DOT maintenance records
Communicate with drivers and vendors for scheduling required maintenance
Ability to coordinate truck and load changes due to breakdowns and quickly route deliveries to maintain schedule minimizing downtime and maintenance expense
Essential Skills and Experience
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
1-2 years Transportation Dispatch experience is preferred
Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet, email/scheduling software

Job Duties
The ideal pilot must try to establish a mutual understand with the crane operators and coorperate in the spirit of safety. May also perform non-flying duties including supervision of loading and refueling, record keeping, scheduling flights and performing minor aircraft maintenance. work a flexible schedule, flying for several days, followed by several days off. The offshore pilot must be ready to adhere to all flying and landing safety procedures to ensure lives and properties is not put into jeopardy.
Qualification
Candidates for a helicopter pilot license must have 20/20 vision (with or without glasses), excellent hearing, coordination and reflexes. They must be free of any physical handicaps that can impair performance. Because helicopters are extremely expensive. A history of drug abuse, physiological disorders or heart conditions may disqualify the applicant. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral are integral to the duties of an international helicopter pilot.
